Upcoming Service Projects:

|
CLUB NAME CHANGE – Effective 10/1/2009 (This due to
the Merger of the Kiwanis Club of East Tulsa – Broken Arrow and the
Kiwanis Club of Tulsa Southeast
|
The East Tulsa-Broken Arrow and the Tulsa Southeast Club have mergered
clubs effective 10/01/2009 and we are now the “Kiwanis Club of East Tulsa County”. Weekly meetings on Thursday at 11:45
AM. At the Golden Corral, 71st and Mingo Rd., Tulsa.
(This is the same locations that both Club have been meeting for past 2
years.)

Club Service Project Information and Date of Event- SATURDAY
– 10 SEP 2010, Child Resource Center,
25th and South Sheridan, Tulsa,
OK.
|
We will be putting down stripes in their
parking lot. Yes we are getting
out the old equipment and again putting down stripes. Mance will need some help in
loading/unloading equipment (at his residence and at the job site). Put on your old painting clothes and
come to the parking lot. This is
one of our old Club projects that is being revived for this occasion.
Joint us for this work party.

Interclub
Activities & Various Division functions:
|
|
Tuesday,
Sep 21, Division Council meeting for Division 25. This will be a joint meeting of the
009/2010 and the 2010/2011 Club Officers and Boards.
We
will get the room so it will be available for Dinner either before or
after the meeting. Take your
choice on dinning time.
|
Meeting will begin at 6:00 PM, but the
room will be ready by 5:30 PM, at “Spaghetti Warehouse”, located at 221 East Brady Street, Tulsa, OK.
You may order before or after the meeting to enjoy a great cusine.
Please put on your calendar and attend
the Division Council meeting.
There will be another club hosting with us so we can participate
in an interclub, but we need members in attendance.

Other Club
Activities: Fund Raising Events
|
|
We will begin planning for our annual Pancake
Breakfast, probably scheduled for the first Saturday in November, which
would be 11/06/2010. Keep this date available
|
|
|
SPECIAL CLUB EVENT:
Kiwanis Club of East Tulsa
County, Annual
Kiwanis Installation and Awards Banquet.
There will be no regular meeting this date, but their
will be a round table meeting at the Golden Corral
|
New Club Officer and Board
Installation for the 2010/2011 Officers is being scheduled for 6:30PM,
Social Hour, with Dinner at 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 7, 2010, at
Michael V’s, 8222 E. 103rd
Street, Tulsa, OK.
